Running through all of our contemporary challenges around race, policing, and extra-judicial killings is the common thread of our long, shared and unreconciled American experience with racial (in)justice. Join us for a conversation with a group of artists who are deeply rooted in traditional arts and who are drawing on that cultural wellspring to offer important social critiques and to shape new narratives around cultural identity rooted in traditional ways of knowing, living and making art.
