Building Justice from the Source: Traditional Artists Respond to this Moment
Gullah Geechee elders have long taught that we "mus tek cyear a de root fa heal de tree." Join us for a conversation with a group of artists who are deeply rooted in traditional arts and who are drawing on that cultural wellspring to offer important social critiques and to shape new narratives around cultural identity rooted in traditional ways of knowing, living and making art.
